To create a 3D illustration, no assumptions!.. You first have to closely specify what will be your ending visual because the process will be long and rigorous. So we might as well optimize rignt now our workflow to focus on elements we have to model rather than going in random directions that produce nothing and could discourage us.
Why don’t you take one hour to draw on paper what you would really like to make. Believe me, you’ll save a lot of time and energy for the following.
In this case, no need to imagine our final image. we already have it because I have chosen to rebuild one of my personal 2D illustration into 3D.
